ooh and it's one of those random emo moments again? haha. i was attempting hard at starting my 33.33% worth assignment which is due this saturday. and i am still so distracted as usual. i have been wanting to get it done from early of this week. say monday. and it's thursday, i skipped my lectures to finish it yet i am still procrastinating. thumbs up to myself -____-

decided to give myself a break (more than the time i work i believe) from all those reading journals and articles. it's like those sort of reward i give myself for being a "good girl" --> facebooking! ahah. what more fun and productive then looking at photos on fb. my hobby i tell you. something about photos that just never fails to entertain. stumbled upon this album of people. all the familiar faces in the album. it's a great album that is. most ppl from OCF in there. reminds me of them, the times ppl share together at OCF on friday nights, hanging out at the centre/chaplaincy just for fun, times cleaning up kitchen, washing dishes, drying dishes, the laughter, the dessert, the sincere smile from everyone's heart, the fellowship, the friendship, the love, coming to know the Lord. it's all so amazing. the true love everyone gives out, because You first loved us. i used to think how ppl may not be sincere, and its all just an act. well, i think that crossed my mind before. but You made it all possible, for ppl to love others whole heartedly. yes, i do get tired. but the smiles and laughter i saw from the photos. i could tell they were real. the love in them are real. nothing fakes that. not the best actor. there will be moments we get tired, we are weak and vulnerable. we are human. but You make all the difference. because of You, it's almost as if we can recharge our energy, plug in the adaptor to You and regain back our drained energy.
Lord, i thank You for You have found and saved me. and so loved me although i don't deserve Your love. Lord, i thank You for Your grace and Your mercy that i had known You. thank You for showing me what love is. Amen.

ahhh this site is long abandoned. the urge to write isn't as much as before. not that i have ample of time too.
this year has been busy as expected. 3rd year has been notorious with it's gruelling lecture hours and tests and assignments and what not. but i am surviving...it's not that bad really. but the energy and excitement to be doing something different and adventurous have definitely been reduced. it is easter hols and mid sem break now and all i wanna do is pretty much laze at home...and do some catch up with ppl and also studies. i feel like i just want as much time to relax and be drifted in a slow pace wave before the semester continues and time just seem to pass by without me realising. tests after tests and assignments after assignments.

hols so far has been awesome. went to easter camp (the same site as last year when my life have been changed forever). going back to the same place for the second time (esp if the place has a very special meaning) does feel different. it's the same place, very familiar but somehow different (which includes new toilets and shower rooms :D). as if you're back with as a different person. different role may be a better word. but being able to go back and rmbr of my encounter with Him....that was just simply awesome. (:

today smtg smacked me real hard, like right in the face. every word weighed so much, because they were so true. the exact things that i should not have done, i have done them all. the thoughts i should never had in my mind, they were infesting my mind. then i realised, i was looking for treasures at the wrong places all along. i had wrong priorities when i thought i was focused on the right one. but in reality, i was fooling myself. something else was on the top of my list without me consciously knowing it. and everytime someone asked me, i had the right answer, only i was not living my right answer. now that i know i was on the wrong path, i wish to go back on track. to go on the path meant to be followed. the right path. the right reasons. i hope i do not stray off track again but yet again it may be a learning experience. i am sorry and thank you.

the struggle is to first having the intention of doing so. and a million other excuses preventing you from doing so.

i seriously have issues.
issues of what sort you may ask. i just don't know how to describe them or more to i am unwilling to say what it is but yet i still want to pour out a portion of it.
so there, i have issues.
so please bear with me while i am still stupidly stuck in it.
countless of times i tried tackling and thought i have tackled and have got over it and behind my back and up come it resurfacing.
that's probably because how i always run away from my problems. please! listen, you have to face your situation and solve it. and running away/escaping is not considered a solution.

both were lighted. one was blown out straight after it got lighted up. the other was left burning almost until the edge.
what's the difference between both match sticks?
one weaker than the other.
don't let the flame burn you like the second match. cause combustion needs energy and the anger/flame in you will just use up yr energy you know.

you know how ppl say you should forgive and forget?
i heard this different view point from the same person who told the match sticks story.
ppl forgive, yes. but they don't forget. we learn from past mistakes.
we don't forget not in the sense that we bring up past matters again and again to irritate someone.
but more like, if you let this teenager babysit your kid and he/she trashed yr hse by having a massive party. you're not likely going to have the person babysit again the next day eh.

so the conclusion is i have issues now.

today i had a real fun mechanisms of disease lab! (:

what is more fun to do blood smear (smearing blood on the slides) and insert a cannulae (a small tube thgy like for IV drip) into a tube attached to a broomstick?

haha. sounds like err....not really that fun or wtv but i think it was cool!! compared to just get to watch and dun get to dio anything. but i was mad excited and so occupied i didn't snap any photo. *smacks forehead* stupid. my first blood smear and cannulae insertion lost with no photo to remind me of them.

i can tell everyone were so dedicated and hyped up to make a good good blood smear cz there was competition and prize for the winner. i want a snickers bar too. but uh, my blood smear was hmmm... i suppose got kicked out super fast. at least i take pride in another friend's!!! she was one of the 4 special mentions leh. geng! LOL interesting labs we have.

and then get to stick cannulae into broomsticks attached with tubes with red fluids to imitate blood. that broomstick is suppose to be a dog's antebrachium (arm).

1. i woke up late today and just wore 2 layers to sch. clever me, i was freezing cold when the wind blew. and we have agronomy practical today too! *shivers*

2. i brilliantly touched the electric fence while trying to kick some mud out of the way. -_-

3. i was being very defensive to a certain smtg my friend asked me. thinking back after i responded, i don't know why i reacted that way. i shouldn't have really. there's no reason to. probably cz i was afraid what he said was true? i think so. i was afraid to admit and refuse to.

4. i called the airlines company today to change my flight dates without checking the dates. so when he asked i was blur. and i brilliantly, again! gave the wrong date. lucky i checked again so i changed it. dang! i seriously hope i didn't make any silly mistakes and i haven't realise yet.

5. i microwaced my gel warmer today.*you are suppose to microwave it to heat it up just so you know* a heart shape one. so cute. but it only lasts awhile and it got back cold.and every 15 seconds interval? not very user friendly is it.

6. i had turnip and carrot soup and sorta like own version of char kuey teow for dinner. (: tht's gonna be my lunch too.

7. i am obsessed with fringe now. to the extent that day i dreamt bout some bizarre incidents. a girl who cut her wrist and had all her blood vessels crawling all over the walls. not bloody tho funnily. and i think one of my lecturers look like nina sharp of massive dynamics while one of my classmates who look like peter bishop. fascinating! LOL * i asked my friend to confirm if they really look alike btw - and it's a yes and a no*

8. i cut my thumb while cutting onions for dinner. but its just skin deep although i was pretty sure was pretty sure i was using pushing down rather hard. either my skin is real thick or the knife is real blunt.

9. i have a confession. i stole smtg. well, to defend myself it was left there long time and nobody seem to want to claim it so i took it. i seriously hope its ok to do so. :S

10. i just found out i have 2 tests up next week and i still want to do nothing. not study at least. *dies*

do you think emotions and thoughts are inter-linked? between one person and another? they just pass on so easily. like an infectious disease that travels via air or something. how easily your emotions, your mood is affected when you see a happy couple getting married. or when you see someone grieving. thoughts and reasoning hits you then next thing you know, you're so affected.

free crunchie choc bar.its half eaten as you can see. it's free cz we became test subjects for other ppl's experiment to see what's our behaviour when chewing and the bite pieces and all. lol. my friend and I were thinking we can actually survive with all these free food. and we are paid with shopping voucher in bookstore. not much but still. free choc and voucher?! heard there were another test run thg which provides 3 times lunch per week for a month. too bad that was only for guys. lol, acc to my friend's phrase, we are "al-cheapo" like that.

tmrw ah tmrw.monday.schooling begins again. funnily i am not dreading it as much. probably cz i had a really long trip and sorta look forward for schools. but i dun think i will have that kinda thought for long thoh. lol. as usual, i start off a new sem with high ambitions and positive thinking lol. before they gradually deteriorate into pessimism. i want to be real good this sem.

i want to study consistently. i dun want to get crappy results. i want to pay attention in class and not fall asleep. i want to finish off my assignment knowing how to do them. i want to be fit and go to gym. i want to read my lectures before and after my lectures. so i can actually understand what they're talking about. i want to revise my lectures so that what i've learnt will be kept into longer term memory. can i get an A please?

LOL yea i am that ambitious.
