merry christmas...

ah christmas 2008.well,its christmas, suppose to be fun fun and fun.but but this year its missing one fun.its only fun fun cause the cheery bubbly people that i love ain't here this yer for christmas.there's amy ooi the one who i usually spend my christmas with in melissa's house every year since i dunno which year..well,she's in korea so everything's so much quieter.and that contributes to the missing fun.our tradition in mel's house has somehow changed without amy around.less noise, less fun, less craze.not to mention the one who usually celebrates with us,pinky.she's not around too.actually she couldn't make it so another missing member.well, there is addition though..teeni.so at least its not just me and mel.anyhow, christmas is still fun but very tiring now i sorta have to work.they said you would definitely prefer studying rather than working and you'll know that once you start working.i totally agree.i just knew from that instant at this moment,i'm not yet prepared to venture into the working life.hell no.lucky its just temporary now.

back to christmas...i helped mel with the jam cookies with joanne.hehe....how fun.my first cookie and it tastes awesomely good.hehe...my.if mel reads this she's gonna go mad cz we did halfway and had to to leave so its left her with her cookies and yet we still claim its ours. :) christmas eve and rather very early christmas morning,i had pies, turkey and yes alcohol.this year round,i'm not drunk(not really drunk the last time, just a little high i should think) so i wasn't laughing to myself and still very capable of walking in a straight line.this is thanks to the absence of mel's uncle saga and i don't mean i don't like you around but just that since he's not around, there's nobody to get us to bottoms up!hehe.anyways,we tried tequila which in my opinion tastes no where near good.

to be continued...*due to sleepiness*

ways of anger management

how to manage your anger when you're so so freaking pissed and feel like strangling that person or pushing that person into a big drain so he or she can be washed away...far away from your sight?instead of doing those, which all of us obviously know is so difficult to gather up the courage and accomplish it.besides,i might be sued or get into serious trouble for doing that and the angst is always peaking only at that moment so we have to give some time to cool down.ah...what i thought of are these:
either
1. you can go inside your room and find your pillow.least favourite preferably.and hit it as hard as possible.smash it and end its life.

or
2. well,if you're in no position to go back to your cosy room which always applies.so what to do??curse.yes,i said curse.just imagine yourself confronting that person.and say out everything you want right at that person's face (in your imagination) just curse curse curse and curse.feels so so much better after that.of course this ain't as good as doing the real thing but ah..well...

what the #@$&* ?!!

it is so shitty when you're feeling emo for no apparent reason.the crappy shitty poopy feeling just comes out just like that.and then emotions are flying wild!damn!shooting innocent people just like that.you'll just get frustrated, annoyed, so f**ked up and scold people.next thing you know you'll be scolding your dog.and the very next minute you feel like bursting into tears.what the heck???!!!!

pay it forward

i just watched this show..pay it forward.it is one of the nicest films ever..you know those movies that made you feel like you wanna be a better person after you watch it?yup, thats one of those.well, don't get me wrong really.not all that being-angel or save-the-world-thing.but the movie just gets you thinking.yeah..thinking bout actually a person out of i don't know how many billion of people in the world.. can actually do something to change the world.just as long as you put your heart into it.pay it forward is this act of doing random kindness to total strangers or just anyone.well, the kindness has to be something bigger than the usual i guess.and difficult to be done.probably like forgiving someone you totally loathe.then after you did that to a person, they're supposed to pass it on to others.and each person is suppose to pay it forward to 3 persons.so its kinda like a pyramid thing where people keeps passing it on.erm...its exactly like those where you're suppose to make money when you ask people to join a certain club or smtg and you get more money the bigger the pyramid gets.so yeah thats the whole idea.but it just gets me thinking it ain't easy to just do a random kindness to just anybody.i mean you don't go around asking homeless people into your house or offer a ride to an obvious crime offender like in the movie.it takes great courage to do that and a lot scolding from your parents.and you'll never know if that person doesn't just take your kindness like that.he might just kill you for all you know.and there are so many cheaters around these days that people tend to just ignore.beggars or whoever who asks for help, you just no longer believe them.so paying it forward can be difficult.but i guess its no harm trying..starting with little stuffs...

you know it's really funny...one just really has this preference over some other stuffs compared to some other stuffs.really do.and i've just realised it right now, right this moment.well, i know my description ain't that good.and very confusing too with all the generalisation.but ah well, what the heck.i wonder humans just have this naturally you know.like this some other stuff may be a hell lot more beta than this other one,but when one seriously likes that certain stuff, nothing changes it.nor does time.ermm...lemme give an example, its just like a shoe that you've spotted.well probably its just any other heels from nose.very common, usual, nothing out of the unusual,price:average-not too expensive or too cheap.but you just like it,like simply feel in love wth that pair of heels.then there is this other freaking expensive pumps or wedges or whatever-la from erm..probably jimmy choos.really this pair of heels that can make heads turn and everyone would die to have a pir of that pair of gorgeous stillettos(dunno how to spell).and somebody out of the blue decides to give it to you as a gift.well, simply,i you have already set your eyes on those nose ones, don't you think you'd rather have it than the jimmy choos??ok,well,i think my example is a lil exaggerated.prob just a vincci heels.so...one usually just have this preference over the other don't you think?well,at least i think i do.it just happens know.its like this subconcious thing in you.its as if that pair just have that thang with you.prob you couldn't get hold of it cause it was already out.so if the next time you see it again, you'd be sure to get it.of course i'm not only referring to shoes in particular.its as if it applies to everything.

sometimes you think that the stuff(probably that pair of shoe)has gone out of your life cause there is no stock left, out of your size..so you've done griefing and being sad over the whole incident.like get it over with the disappointment that you couldn't buy that pair of pumps.then, one day you were just walking in a shopping mall scounting and just looking around when your eyes met this glittery glow.you know instantly that was the pair.and i meant "the" pair.at that moment,it was as though you could feel connection with the shoes.omg.hehehe..mind me i'm starting to exaggerate.so do you get my point.probably not but still..you just happen to prefer that shoe over the rest....

well that's just that...gee.. i think this is the aftermath of reading the shopaholic book.

continuation...with much effort

now that i've started a blog only did i realise that it ain't easy to mange a blog....damn it sure takes effort and determination to actually keep your blog alive and kicking know...the laziness to actually open up the page and start writing....and pick up from where i've left behind the last time. just so lazy though i'm actually rather free now......
well then..off to where i've left off from my malacca trip!

i believe i'm still at the food in malacca...ahah! thanks to remi's dad's suggestion, we went to this awesome cake place there...nice atmosphere..great place with great and special cakes...but..too bad..i forgot the most important thing-the name of the shop so i can't even introduce it to my friends...

the place is just small and has this cosy feeling to it..feels relaxing to sit there and slowly enjoy your piece of cake..ah.....and most of the names of the cakes..well they're too complicated to be remembered...but the cakes are mostly in layers...really good! check the pics out..tempting :) totally love it

some of the cakes....uhhhh nyummy....totally dig em

the cold long black coffee that they serve..

the tea..with all the other "apparatus" to prepare your very own tea.

how can the food of malacca not include those from jonker walk?!

the place is really cool..lotsa stuffs to buy..and cheap too.from all the variety of available there to sandals, purses, clothes, trinkets and souvenirs..they're all found at JONKER WALK!

the various food we tried at jonker walk : all types of cendol-the traditional one, durian cendol, dim sums, fried oyster,"put chai ko"-a type of kuih which can be made from yam, corn, red bean(the nicest),"ham chin peng"-kuih usually eat in the morning for breakfast

everyone eating happily away :)

*check out tang's greedy look...hahaha...

the tonnes of trinkets we got..hehehe..just like a pameran

ahh there's also the baba and nyonya food in malacca..so we decided to try it in a restaurant called MAKKO...delicious food..

we ate fried egg with onion(if i'm not wrong),asam pedas fish,fried otak-otak(very good!!),chicken with potato,vege,cendol and some i-have-no-idea-what-dessert...

oh oh btw, "ho chak" has been to this makko restaurant before :)

of course we also went to the famous famosa erm kubu? at the st paul's hill i think and the malacca christ church...

ohh my..thats pretty much bout the little trip to malacca...darn it does take a lot of work to only complete one single post.damn....i didn't know blogging would be this tiring, especially loading pictures and with the small space it provides...its so difficult for you to track what you've written and organise. And the worst part of all, all the your organisation changes once you upload a picture (which also takes a rather long time)...my...no wonder it tires...well then it was an awesome experience to malacca, haven't been there until now...feels glad i've visited another place in malaysia.wish i could visit more interesting places in malaysia..hopefully it'll come true.

budget trip to malacca..here we come!!!

ohhh...finally my exams are over and its "touring" time! our so-called plan was initially packed and full - supposedly visiting one place after another..oh well, due to "financial problem" that i have and a lot of unforeseen circumstances, most of the places we intend to visit are crossed off our list...so then MALACCA is our first destination! you have to note that malacca is nearby and most of the stuffs aren't that expensive i suppose and plus we have free tour guide "remina doh" :) btw, lemme introduce the participants of out BUDGETED TRIP TO MALACCA..number1:aunty/Si Lai TANG who is our dear "chi mui",number2:Uncle Kelvin,number3:Anderson aka Siao Pai,fellow "singer" and quiet person and smtg which we didn't notice till later he loves to SHOP!,number4:tour guide and wife to Aunty Tang-remi DODO,number5:poser CHOO plus "singer" as well (she's gonna kill me for this :),and last but not least ME erm the sidekick!!!!!

since we are on a budget trip,it makes it all more FUNner :) well, usually the more money the happier..really..i do agree but there's exception...this trip has the erm...the feeling of being independent *laughs* cause everything is done independently...hotel-booking,finding places to go..yadaa yadaa..makes you feel you can do stuffs by yourself *proud* the only thing which ain't so fun is none other than the $$$ problem..broke on a vacation is not so fun.

well, moving on... after around 2 hours we reached malacca. the malacca bus station is rather cool and so much better compared to the few places i've been to. organised is a word you can use to describe it. btw, do you know the existence of this board-sort-of-place at bus stations??well it impressed me. its a place where you can see which hotels are available in malacca and there's a phone right beside for you to call the hotals and ask them on the room rates and that sorta thg..really usefull...not to mention FREE eheheheh :)

*these are some of the hotels we planned to stay in,notice the budget hotel...heheeh...but eventually i think we found a better place..FENIX INN :)

FOOD! IN MALACCA
now the food in malacca is awesome...i love food :) food is GOOD.well, the very famous chicken rice balls is definitely not to be missed out..that chicken rice ball place also has a great soup-black bean soup...yummy.... (to be continued...cause i have to catch a bus :)

ahah...my first post of my BLOG! keke..

i am so excited - i dunno why just because i'm starting a blog. :) funny...
i have no idea whatsoever what to write in my first post...jeezzzzz
ah ok..done whatever..
