dammit!!!

oh my freaking cow!!!!!!! today's a bad day.. i mean not really that bad but not that good...
gees.
firstly....there's badminton and i like badminton so i was excited.
but it was raining so what the hell...have to bring umbrella...thats ok..but the freaking wind is blowing so freaking hard that umbrella's of no use.so i had to run in the rain and with the mighty wind plus super super cold to the rec centre.dammit...so when i reach there i was all wet...
* i should so get the wind breaker-rain coat-hoodie thg*

oh the worst the very very worst part of all is when i just go out from my halls gate....i freaking !@##$%%^&* dropped my phone......ah!!!godammit!!!@!#$%^&*!@##$% and now some of the metallic part of me phone is partially gone and those deep hurting scratches...i mean its not really that big but its sorta deep and you can totally see it if you look closely...those damn scratches on my ....ah....and i cant take pic to show how awful is that damn scratch cz i take pics with my phone....wth.

and now i just burnt my toast...how unlucky is that

stuffs i like and not so like bout palmie??

ah well....i have thought of blogging bout this stuffs for so long really...but usually i'll just blog about what happens everyday that i don't feel its necessary to add in this in a separate blog on the same day? i thought that'd be really funny.

so...i was really really bored and still up *amazingly*, "pat kua" looking at other ppl's blog, fb looking at ppl's pics...i practically check fb and blog so frequently that there's not much update i could get really. ah damn...internet is like my only source of entertainment here really.ntg much to do besides that. so for those of you reading this * i think you know who you are* don't worry. i will i will study. just my entertainment when i am not studying *tells meself have to study tmrw!* :P yes yes...

ah right..back to what i was suppose to be doing...

STUFFS I LIKE AND DISLIKE BOUT PALMIE :

1. the shower :) it is so so good to be in the shower when it is rather a chilly day actually. you must be wondering wth???shower when it is freaking cold??well....shower's got heater...duh! ok, ok. maybe you've figured that out. but the thing is its seriously really good to be in the shower where the warm water runs...oh, my i just love it! i just wish i can bathe for really long time and enjoy the warm nice water running... :) but obviously thats impossible cz i can't be in the shower forever...like so obvious and the thg about warm water is they produce steam...so the whole bathroom gets all steamy and i'm really afraid that will trigger the fire sensor thg..cz if i do that, i'll have to pay $1500 !! like what??

but shower's they're only nice when you're in em....it doesn't work the same way when you wanna get into it and out of it really. the weather will be chilly and i just wouldn't wanna take off my clothes and slip into the shower....and then you have to step on the puddle of water which was "cooled" by the water in the bathroom and also the icy cold steel base thg you have in the bathroom. oh man! then when you finally jumped around until you could gather up yr courage to get in there...you turn on the tap for the hot water. out comes icy cold water. cz the warm water will only be out after awhile....then...yes..then...the water will be too hot and you will be jumping like a monkey in the shower so you have to turn out the cold water tap....so that sorta like goes on until you got the right "combination" sorted out.

* then comes the really enjoyable part of the shower*

not long after when then i will get worried bout the fire sensor-trigger-alarm thg and decided "ah,well...have to get out of shower before i turn soggy." :P this is the really difficult part cz you just feel so nice in there you'll be so reluctant to get. and finallywhen i made up my god damn mind that i really really should be getting out...have to do this speed - turn off both taps asap - opens glass shower door - jumps out and quickly grab the towel hanging there and wipe myself clean in the fastest time ever...yep yep...thats how it is * ok i probably exaggerated....and its still summer ....man how is winter gonna be like *

2. the next thing i could think about is the driving erm do you call it ethics... i think so. ohh its so really different here compared back to malaysia. back there, you will usually wait for the cars to drive pass the road until eventually the road is clear then you'll cross the road.even on the zebra lines eh. its so different and much nicer here really...cz everyone stops for you to cross...even when you know they'll be better off just speed off and then you can walk across. nope, that doesn't happen here. they'll just stop so that you can cross the road although i don't think its really that necessary at times. but this change....i'm seriously still not used to it. i'll be there, standing to wait until the road clears when there is car going to go through. then they'd jsut stop and let you through.. oh my...i feel sorta silly actually .. but thats damn nice of em to do that.


* well so far i can only think of 2 and i am already sleepy* so i'll just come up with others as soon as i come up with more stuffs and when i'm free. *

have to go to "oi oi" now then....very sleepy....almost 2 am...chaoz -.- * sleepy droopy eyes*

hello ppl....well...technically i'm not really that free that i am updating my blog now....i'm just sorta like bored and suddenly have this habit of liking to post up pictures :P hehehehhe....so here i am: "sorta free" until my lab which is at 7.30 pm later until 9 pm *only for this week for the gasps cz of nite labs.....cz next week onwards its 6 till 9 pm* so thats much worse.....and i have 2 days with nite labs in a week....ah well.....so i'll just upload some random pics i got cz i'm lazy to blog....was planning on writing smtg ac...but next time then.

hump..

2nd day of schooling...it starts at 11 today...good,means i can sleep in.... :) and take my time slowly to eat breakfast. and today's timetable is relatively free and relaxing...bio of animals is boring...cudn really get what the lecturer was saying.....he is boring,talks really slow but i don't really get what he's saying...damn that means i gotta read up on my own..well bio of cells haven started yet..but she seem rather understandable and comparatively not so boring.will see how it goes tmrw.ah!!!!bio of cells at 8 am in the morning. gotta wake up real early.and physics...miraculously...its very interesting...credits to the lecturer who is really funny and uses different approach to actually make us understand. he ac crawled on the floor to explain the difference of average acceleration and instantaneous acceleration.how cool is that?? shows how enthusiastic he is in teaching. SALUTE! and there's lab today.just intro....not real experiment yet lucky thg. and dinner : sandwiches. cz we sorta ran out of meat to cook and wanted a change. as usual, i was being greedy and cooked more than i should. so the stuffs: eggs, tomatoes, a sausage and cheese wouldn't fit into 2 piece of bread so i made another sandwich. so one was egg and the other sausage. damn i'm so filled up! i think i'm seriously gonna be FAT FAT FATTER if i continue doing this. and drinking chocolate milk all the time. man that fat's definitely accumulating in me. geeeeeee....

well..i haven got lots to say.we got lost on the way to the first lecture today...and well...its called lecture so it wasn't particularly fun.but so far the lecturers' seem really nice and supposedly funny.hopefully i'll be doing good.....and understanding what the lecturers say. and damn! i don't wanna fall asleep or "fishing" like i usually do in lectures. even if i sleep early i would just have the tendency to fall. aihs....i'll have to bring sweets to class...any other suggestions ppl??and ya i took pic of my dinner today.

today's a sunday. tomorrow's a monday.and tomorrow classes are starting. ah...so probably i wouldn't be as free as now to update my blog.so i went out to town today and we went shopping :)

after judy's awesome dinner of lamb*she's so hardworking and wanting to prove to james that she can cook and found recipes for lamb*.it was really great...delicious! mentioning bout it makes me hungry,seriously like right now.yeah, after dinner, we played this "jenga" blocks aka tumbling tower that i just bought in the warehouse today in the kitchen. we went until 28 storeys or more if i'm not wrong. FUN! :)

on our way to the warehouse we passed this pet store which is just awesome! it ain't like any other usual pet store. has the animals that you don't usually get in a pet store. i vote it the best pet store ever and probably mu favourite part of the town! :) thats a black pig *jamie*. heheheh...

ups and downs

ahah.yet another day that i am blogging.actually i was sorta lazy to blog today. but ah.since not much ppl are online to chat with me....i have nothing much that i can do.so there...i'd blog.well....today's weather isn't nice cause its been raining all day.and its suppose to last till tue with this weather??oh crap!i dun like to have to carry an umbrella everywhere i go and shoes get wet, pants get wet. man, this just totally ruins my whole plan of "kai kai" in the town before the lecture starts next week. how to "kai kai" in rainy weather?? ah well, it has already sorta ruined our plans to go to market day at the uni concourse this morning. was suppose to go out of the house rather early but due to the weather.....we got out late. i woke early in the morning and realise its not sunny.and already drizzling. ah...and i slept really late last nite cause i was chatting away and was really awake. cudn really make myself get out of bed. so it makes sense that i went back to sleep and only got up until quite later. 8 probably....i forgot.anyways, we still got out to the market day. when they say market day they dun really meant market as pasar...its just not pasar. they're pretty much just stalls set up by different shops or associations promoting what they're selling or offering. and ah well, like us students, our main aim to the market day is to get freebies and goodie bags.. oh yeah! got lotsa stuffs useful but some really weird that i'll go,"WHA..????". yeah, like that. whats useful are instant noodle *got one of that* and i notice ppl like giving away that as freebies really. prob cz students eat em all the time. and instant macaroni.oh yeah babeh! and the weird stuffs are condoms,tanning spray and wipes????!!!! yeah, i think its kinda funny why they give those stuffs. and aft that we went to settle one of my friends stuff, settled bank stuff to get my eftpost card*which is a debit card if you guys don't know*. and 2 of my friends didn't get that yet. its so funny cz we ac did those at the same time. ah, moving on...the activies go on .....we went to play volleyball.yep, thats it volleyball. so you can assume that my hands are all red and bruised right now with my blood (sorta like vessels) burst...you're right! so you can see my hand has this sorta red dots on it. i've never really played volleyball before but cz friend ajak then i was just bored sitting at home so why not? i thought it was gonna be some small group of random ppl...not so pro playing so i thought wth...i'll just go.well, it turns out not to be really small group and everyone looks good and pro and well, you get what i mean. and i've never played volleyball before?!damn it i was like this lost person playing...dunno the rules,dunno how do you hit the ball,dunno how to serve or the positioning. i have no clue about this game whatsoever. but well, there were really nice ppl in there trying to teach me how to do this and that ....when i'm suppose to rotate to another position and all. thanks to those guys a lot! and really sorry for randomly hitting the ball lousily. now that i've played....man i know i just suck ! i do prefer tennis and badminton still....not to say that i'm good at em but seems more ok to me. if i do improve, i'd like volleyball. :)

and after that we're suppose to attend this small gathering dinner thgy. but i only got to know that its ac pot luck at the last minute!so i thought damn we have to prepare food.. so rushed back and have to cook something....but i dunno what. well at last decided to cook potatoes and well ah it turned out....not so good. but edible.hehehehehhe....though the gathering thg...they're called the ocf i think. it was really really fun. we get to meet lotsa friendly ppl around. some kiwis, mostly asians. and play silly games. hahaha....and there's this guy name sony...dunno where he is from but he's really funny. ppl there keep on teasing him and its so fun to watch everyone having a great time together there, joking around and picking and prodding at each other. the seniors, i think i've mentioned a million times before were just awesome bunch of ppl. helping you out whenever you need this and that. and asking you out and introducing more ppl to widen up yr circle. i think its so fun meeting new ppl from the same place as well as different places with different cultures. just superb! well, provided that they're friendly. so by the time i got back...its already rather late....probably 10 plus when i online ....and started blogging.

well, i hope tmrw will be more fun when there is badminton..and also eating out in town in a japanese place called fujiyama..this time going out with malaysian seniors i think. and i hope i would have a chance to "kai kai" in town and get some stuffs i prob need. perhaps not food this time around. oh, i don't mind if we have time to go catch a movie in town since we have a coupon *discounted price for cinema ticket at $8 which expires on 31 March*. shouldn't waste that.hahahhhahahha........


P/S: i sorta changed my room for a bit(check out the pic on the top page). took in the advice of a senior, YY. i think her idea was not so bad. got so much more space in my room now. i kinda liked it. will sleep in this condition and see how it goes. :)

its a warm and happy day!

ahah....i wonder why i'm so happy right now.probably cz of the warm weather that i love.i can wear shorts around now.so comfortable :) or probably i'm starting to get a lil used to the weather also.and i watched several good games of volleyball just now. competition between halls. ahah! kairanga(which is the hall i stay in won). thats so cool. oh oh or prob its simply a happy day. probably its the magic of the special day.hehhehe...i dunno the happiness just came really really. well lemme tell you whats this special day...its my fairygodsis's 19th birthday!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you if you're reading this fairygodsis!!!!! :) prob brought some magic into my not so happy day.....

well....what i did today? lemme think. i didn't wake up very early today.cz we all decided to skip all the we-think-unnecessary-talks.and so the not-much-day went on. ahh....yes we went out grocery shopping.took the bus by ourselves for the first time. and we got there.....as usual we bought tonnes of stuff..

so we came back and later later later(fast forwarded)and we cooked dinner. ah man! i should have took pic to make this more interesting. hehehehee....and i cooked chicken.chicken slices of the breast i should think..but the problem is i didn have kicap.yes the most vital ingredient kicap! well, salt and pepper will have to do then. i was so afraid it will not be enuf "kiam" or either too "kiam". and it looked so pathetic without "o tau ew".the chicken was so white. so judy suggested i add the tomato slices from yest. but ah well, it turned out not too bad. rather cool. and i liked judy's beans with eggs too. ahhh the satisfaction of cooking yr own dinner.i shall try and rmbr to take pictures the next time i cook. *ah btw, the cooking part i did especially upon my sis's request* hehehe.

and aft that i met new ppl. really cool. meeting ppl is fun i think if they're nice,friendly and warm just like the weather. went and watched the volleyball matches. they were really great...just pumps up your adrenaline and keeps me happy. it was really intense watching tht finals of kairanga against egmont. super. ah and then i'm here onlining and feeling happy and so much better than the so so day of yesterday. i'm glad i'm already feeling better and special credits to someone who i can talk to yest....remi doh,joan... :) thanks guys for being there and all my families and frens who are just awesome. ahhhhh.......ta ta then. muaks to everyone and happy bday to fairygodsis again.

hey its my parents' bday today! happy bday to em....whether they will see this or not.

its another day in palmerston north and i'm still very keen on writing blog and very enthusiastic *amazingly* and btw, i am freaking hungry damn it!i dun wanna eat and get fat! ok, moving on, what happened today?? its pretty much of a getting out to know more ppl so you don't get stuck with yr own click kinda day. i told yesterday that i was freaked out,just so afraid that ppl wouldn't like me and be my friend. but well, these days i don't know why but i keep trying to be positive and confident. i wanna believe that as long as i am cheerful and confident, everything will just turn out alright. i dunno if i'm actually pretending to be cause i'm starting to think probably i can't do this for long really. i'm not usually the one taking initiative to introduce myself or anything like that. i mean its good but i'm afraid i'll be sick of trying to be so so positive. ah....i dun wanna work so hard to get ppl to be friends with me. like almost like i'm not being myself. damn it!i dunno what i just wrote there. was i being pretentious??all i wanna do is to make friends around. what the hell..

and i just figured out today that lectures are gonna start....WHAT?! next week?!! yes it was super stupid of me,i should have known it was about to start. and suddenly THIS sinking in made me think. think. think and think. cause all along i was not homesick or sad yet. cause the fact that i'm here to study and to be stressed has not sink in. well, i think that the fact had very much sank in today. i was so tired from all the activities today(although i think they were quite fun, just that i felt a bit out of place) and went grocery shopping and shopping for necessities that i figured i wanna be back home. then i wouldn't be you know, feeling this lost and tired but can't help it.

classes next week isn't gonna be easy either. i am hoping for the best and i wanna stay positive without being pretentious.*wishes that my dreams stay big and my worries stay small*..

i'm too lazy to cont now.lets call it a day.

oh dear i just got my internet yest and was using it yest nite, omg i already used up 0.11 G from 10 G.okay, it may not seem that a lot yeah.but still if its suppose to last me till end of the month. i wonder if it would really. well, initially i got so sad bout it i decided not to online today. but i just thought what the heck i'll just online awhile and off it aft like erm 10 minutes. well, apparently internet's so very addictive especially when you're overseas. never really find anything to do with it when i have streamyx at home. i mean what to write in the blog?? when you're back at home and nothing too different is going on and who am i writing it to read? anyways, so here i am blogging away, thinking what the heck.....internet is so so important i dun mind to spend more money on it. i'll eventually figure something out.

oh btw, when i just started to on my laptop just now, omg the damn sensor pad,touch pad whatever you call that, it isn't working. oh damned! wth?! why would it get spoil. i'd hate to carry my mouse around.

hmm...can't help it then. i'll have to off and on my laptop and see if it makes any difference. thats like the only way that i know that might help. i hope its not spoiled for good. *fingers crossed*

ohh......its a damn cold day today.it was raining since afternoon or morning i forgot. actually, it wasn't that cold in the day when it was raining cause there were less wind blowing when it rains. but after this dinner event i had for the massey university to welcome all new students, oh my, ain't it freezing outside when we were waiting for the bus. i was definitely shivering. can you believe it? there was one senior student who gave a speech earlier today said that its hell colder during winter.even colder than chicago.and i thought the states are suppose to be colder?well, i just assumed. it might as well snow here now that winter's that cold anyways. then i could watch snow :) .

there are so much stuff i haven't buy here actually to completely get settled down.

*well thats all i could think of at the moment...man i'm gonna spend so much on those stuffs.

i haven't got a chance to go over to town to do those shopping and probably some grocery shopping too for cooking. a senior had offered to fetch us out there to tour the city and to buy necessities but so far we're still busy with the orientation stuff.

ohhh and there's this thg on tmrw which is building team stuff i think together with the domestic students as well. no longer just international students' orientation.so i think we're gonna be divided into different groups. OMG! and i trust that they're gonna divide according to the colour of the name cards which you wrote your names in. i just randomly chose the card, i mean not exactly random but i like orange. and then i'm gonna get separated with james, judy and keira. i mean i can't stick with em all the time, i know. i love meeting new ppl,really i do. but its just a lil scary and intimidating to go to a group myself in this so new a place. oh crap, i just hope there's really friendly ppl i could hang out with in the group.all the best to me.

P/S: for those who didn't know the time difference for here and malaysia its approximately 5 hrs faster.

palmie's intro

hey there. i have safely reached palmerston north yesterday.sorry for the late notice as it was rather late when i reached.and most shops are closed during the weekends especially that late.thankfully the office is open this morning so i could online now.internet was rather expensive though. $35 for a month.oh well, had to cz internet's so important.

i landed in the airport at around 7 i think. which is probably 2 in malaysia. well, when we were in auckland waiting for our connecting flight to p.n. , it wasn't that cold. so we thought "hey,that's not that cold.i can wear t-shirt around :)".but that thought changed when we arrive in plamie and the wind was so cold when it blows against you. its actually rather sunny here but the wind is definitely cold when its blowing. at night, i just want to cuddle up on my bed but the bed itself is cold.eeeeeee......

so yest i just settled down and unpack my stuffs.damn it took me so long. and i should have packed more stuff since the max was 23kg..wasted my 2.3kg.could have brought so much stuff.regretted.ahh....well...i have 2 hse mates so far.4 ppl stay in a pod(i think that means a hse...smtg like that).one is judy who was from same college..lucky i got the same hse so i have someone i know already.then there's keira from canada.she's really friendly.and we're all taking vet science intermediate.so cool.the other one...she hasn't moved in yet so we dunno who she is.

today afternoon we had orientation for all international students. so there was some talking and they took us for farm visits which were much more interesting. we went to a total of three farms, all massey's and they are the dairy farm where they milked the cows,the deer farm where they showed us 2 deers and finally the sheep farm which i think was the most interesting one. oh sorry i did not take any of the pictures over there.

erm,well so far, i feel good here.people are friendly-seniors were extremely friendly and tries to help out all the time,r.a's drops by to see if we're fine and all. :)just that i'm still not very used to it over here.the weather and everything is still very new.and everything is not as cheap as in malaysia.well i hope everything goes well from

oh these ducks came over to my room at night. my hse mate keira says they peck on the window (should be for food) so i fed them some cereal i got for free. :)
